CPM 210 Series - 2200 Watt Transformer
Description
The 200 Series kicks off with this 2200 Watt (2.2kW) transformer. Designed around the ER41 planar ferrite core, the 210 Series has an Effective Area of 225mm^2. The ER41 core shape has a circular centre-leg which reduces the mean turn length of windings. The advantages for the customer are significant: better EMI performance as a result of the winding stack being contained within the ferrite core and a reduction in winding loss, leakage inductance and component length. Various core heights and materials are available, allowing higher power-density Transformers and Inductors within the same Series. As part of the Low-Medium power range the 210-Series regularly utilises both PCB and copper stamped windings. Both winding types are supported by CPM’s unique library of Copper and PCB windings. This gives our designers total control when it comes to creating your desired turns ratio and power throughput.
