CPM 480 Series - 130,000 Watt Transformer
Description
With a capacity in excess of 130,000 Watts (130kW), this mighty planar transformer sees CPM taking power to the max. The 480-Series is designed around multiple stacks of the E153 planar ferrite core resulting in an Effective Area of 3450mm^2. Several core heights and material grades are available, allowing higher power-density Transformers and Inductors within the same Series. The 480-Series have a very large window area making them ideal for extremely high power applications. As a response to often considerable currents present, windings for the 480-Series are almost always designed using Copper Stamped windings. Termination styles can be built to satisfy any desired connection method (bus-bar etc). Terminations can even be removed and we can integrate busbars into the actual Transformer or Inductor. A variety of Copper windings are offered, allowing us to create your desired turns ratio and power throughput with an assortment of connections.
