With the 430 Series we are seriously ranking up the power. Designed around multiple stacks of the E102 planar ferrite core (with an Effective Area of 1620mm^2) this 75,000 Watt (75kW) transformer is a powerful addition to the mighty 400 Series. Windings for the 430-Series are almost always designed using various thicknesses of Copper Stamped windings due to the large currents present. Several core heights and material grades are available, allowing higher power-density Transformers and Inductors within the same Series. The 430-Series have a large window area making them an excellent option for very high power applications. PCB based windings are generally not used in this power range unless specifically requested. Our stock library of Copper windings are used to create your desired turns ratio and power throughput with a variety of connections available.
