CPM 250 Series - 5000 Watt Transformer
Description
At a respectable 5000 Watts (5kW), the 250 Series is where our mid-power range really kicks off. These transformers are built around the E58 planar ferrite core with an Effective Area of 310mm^2. Various core heights and material grades are available, allowing higher power-density Transformers and Inductors within the same Series. Approaching the medium power range, the 250-Series are regularly designed using Copper Stamped windings due to larger currents present on the windings, however, PCB based windings are still commonplace. In both cases our library of stock Copper and PCB windings are used to create your desired turns ratio and power throughput.
