CPM 130 Series - 1000 Watt Transformer

Description

The 130 series is designed around the ER32 planar ferrite core with an Effective Area of 130mm^2. The ER32 core shape has a circular centre-leg, reducing the mean turn length of windings. Your application will not just benefit from better EMI performance but also smaller winding losses, leakage inductance and component length for comparable ferrite cores. Various core heights and materials are available, allowing higher power-density. Geared at a relatively low 1000 Watts (1kW), this transformer is typically designed using PCB based windings (copper stamped windings are used where larger currents are required).
